Dancing begins

I gave my fiancé my first Surface since I now have a new Surface 2 but the only downside is I gave her the keyboard with it and don’t have one for my new device. Right now I’m typing this with just the on screen keyboard because I want to see how well it works, not just the on screen but writing here. Surprisingly its very accurate and anything I misspell it corrects for me so I’m pretty happy. I will keep this one short today just because its late and after today my body is a little tired.

My day began with an Insanity workout. I’m sure everyone has seen an infomercial or something online or may know someone who has done it and it is as tough as it looks. Even if you’ve done it for a year, its tough every time and there is never a moment that you don’t sweat, unless of course you aren’t taking it seriously. After, I paid some bills and made a yummy breakfast to fuel back up after my insane work out. My fiancé came over as I was making my lunch, which was nice, so we could practice some dance moves. Apparently I need to practice a lot of meringue as it helps with moving the hips which can then be used in other dances like salsa and bachata. I understood this time what she had tried to tell me months ago and was able to get my hips moving to the rhythm of the music. If I practice everyday I may be able to learn a new dance like salsa in a month.

 

Vacation is around the corner

Summer break is finally here!!!!!!! But only for two weeks 😛

While the majority of students are going on traditional summer break I am only going to have two weeks to relax since I’m going to a technical school rather than a university. I both like and dislike this but mostly like since I wont really forget what I just learned when I go to my next classes. The break is just long enough that I can relax and breathe from the craziness that I just endured yet short enough that I don’t get too lazy and begin to sleep in all the time. Now I wouldn’t sleep in all the time anyway since there will be some day where I open at work, however, that’s on occasion. The only reason I don’t like the two week break is because part of me misses the super long summer break where I could do whatever I want to do until school came back in the fall.

Update from my last post about summer bodies: I’ve picked up a slight routine but it’s no where near what I want it to be and that’s just because I still haven’t gotten myself to take it serious like I know I should if I want to be in the physical shape that I want. Not only do I have to fit into my suit for the wedding but I got my vacation approved to go home in July so I’d like to go home in good shape just to kind of show off. I was speaking with a high school bud and we had gotten onto the subject of what happens after high school as far as the way we live our lives. Of the many things we discussed, physical shape was one and we’ve both noticed that people who were in good shape in high school no longer are. Some people never changed and look the same, which is cool, but I know I’ve changed since my high school days and I have a goal in mind of where I want to be but have yet to really strive for that. I don’t want to grow older and become so sedentary in life that my physical body shows how lax I’ve become. At my high school reunions I want everyone to look at me and be in shock to see how different and good I look.

Enough about that, lets talk my vacation, in July I’m going back to Texas! I’ll be going for about 5 days which will be plenty of time to see those important people. I do have some people in mind I’d like to see personally so as the time draws nearer I’ll get in touch with them so we can arrange some time to get together. I do want to go out dancing again cause I miss the clubs back home, they are much better than the ones here; it could be that I just haven’t found the right ones here yet. My sister will be off some days which is awesome because we already have shopping days set aside, apparently we are both shopaholics. Sweet! I can’t wait to see family again.
